A&B Burgers is a burger joint at heart, but it's a burger joint that will bring you high-quality foods and amazing hospitality in a clean family-friendly environment. We plan to keep things simple; we serve the best burgers around, we serve ice cream and milkshakes, we serve beer wine and cocktails...Keep it simple. We want to bring the modern burger joint to Beverly and we will separate ourselves by hiring for character first, then empowering our staff, as we want our staff to succeed along with the restaurant. We want to be a partner with the community by being an active member Beverly and other communities we grow along with.
Our goal is to not only have restaurants, but also reach out to neighboring towns by serving our high-quality burgers through food trucks and even sidewalk stands this will create a desire for the original. There's great growth potential for A&B Burgers but we will never outgrow our commitment: great hospitality, knowledgeable staff members, well trained management, and consistency in product is the key for A&B Burger success.
Thomas Holland - Owner
Thomas has enjoyed a successful career for over 20 years in the restaurant industry. In 1989 he began his career at the Roadhouse Café in Hyannis MA and since then has excelled in the industry, having worked at Oritalia under Chef Bruce Hill in San Francisco. He also opened the Falling Water Grill in Omaha NE and was General Manager of Sonsie on Newbury Street in Boston for the Lyons Group before joining Michael Schlow in 2007 as Director of Operations and then Managing Partner. While in these roles, he oversaw the successful build out of four restaurants: 606 Congress (consultant), Alta Strada at MGM Foxwoods, Tico and finally Barrio Cantina ensuring the critical, as well as financial success of the latter three.
Amy Constant - Owner
Amy got her start in the hospitality industry at a seemingly young age as her family owned and operated three restaurants in Connecticut. When she wasn't busy studying she was put to work at the restaurants cooking, serving, and marketing via social networks. Throughout her time at Johnson and Wales she worked with Thomas Holland opening Alta Strada at the MGM Grand and her with her family whenever possible.
Following college, Amy began a successful career with Nordstrom running the prosthetic program for breast cancer survivors before moving through the management training program and taking over a team of her own. After moving to the North Shore in 2010, she decided that her personality was perfect for sales, as did her clients, becoming a national accounts rep first for Prospectiv then for LivingSocial. But she found her way back to her true passion and A&B Burgers.
