Thomas Holland - Owner
Thomas has enjoyed a successful career for over 20 years in the restaurant industry. In 1989 he began his career at the Roadhouse Café in Hyannis MA and since then has excelled in the industry, having worked at Oritalia under Chef Bruce Hill in San Francisco. He also opened the Falling Water Grill in Omaha NE and was General Manager of Sonsie on Newbury Street in Boston for the Lyons Group before joining Michael Schlow in 2007 as Director of Operations and then Managing Partner. While in these roles, he oversaw the successful build out of four restaurants: 606 Congress (consultant), Alta Strada at MGM Foxwoods, Tico and finally Barrio Cantina ensuring the critical, as well as financial success of the latter three.
Amy Constant - CMO & Partner
Amy got her start in the hospitality industry at a seemingly young age as her family owned and operated three restaurants in Connecticut. When she wasn't busy studying she was put to work at the restaurants cooking, serving, and marketing via social networks. Throughout her time at Johnson and Wales she worked with Thomas Holland opening Alta Strada at the MGM Grand and her with her family whenever possible.
Following college, Amy began a successful career with Nordstrom running the prosthetic program for breast cancer survivors before moving through the management training program and taking over a team of her own. After moving to the North Shore in 2010, she decided that her personality was perfect for sales, as did her clients, becoming a national accounts rep first for Prospectiv then for LivingSocial. But she found her way back to her true passion and A&B Burgers.
Eric Buxton - General Manager
Eric Buxton is a hospitality professional and sommelier who has contributed to the success of many well-known restaurants in the greater Boston area. His first opportunity was provided by The Stonehedge Inn in Tyngsboro MA, with and a Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning wine list, which was a different world from anything that he was ever exposed to growing up in Dracut, Ma. His experience there was great training for a career of leadership positions at Grill 23 & Bar, Excelsior Cuisine and Cocktails, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Scampo at the Liberty Hotel and more. He was so fortunate to have exemplary professional role models including Levent Bozkurt, Steve DeFillippo, Lydia Shire, and others. He learned the art of hospitality from the best and is eternally grateful. Along the way he had a family and is a proud father to an incredible son, Gabe. Now, Eric’s passion is to share the skills he developed with the guests and staff at A&B Burgers.
Executive Chef - MATTHEW DIBiCCARI
Matthew DiBiccari was born and raised right here on the North Shore, in Lynnfield. His passion for Culinary Arts developed from early childhood while watching his grandmother make fresh pasta and prepare meals for his large Italian family. After attending Johnson and Wales University in Providence Matt teamed up with Micheal Schlow and Luis Morales at Via Matta in Boston. This restaurant experience helped mold him into a young culinary professional. Next it was off to Italy to train and hone his skills. Upon returning to Boston he rejoined Morales at Alta Strada in Wellesley where he was Chef de Cuisine for 8 years. Matt has now come home to the North Shore in this new venture, reuniting with long time friend and coworker Thomas Holland.
